TENANT ASSESSMENT (REFERENCING)

You will need to be assessed for a tenancy by an independent tenant assessment company. The report usually takes about 2-3 working days to be completed and you will be required to provide the requested information online. An offline option is available but this takes much longer. The cost of this will be paid by the landlord.

HOLDING DEPOSIT

You can choose to pay a Holding Deposit, equivalent to 1 weeks rent (£115), and which will give you first refusal on the room once your assessment is satisfactory. If you pass the referencing assessment and agree to take the room, the Holding Deposit money will be credited towards the amount of the deposit and the first month's rent, which will need to be paid before you move in.

Full details on the Holding Deposit are available on request.
