It is situated on the edge of Puddletown forest with many footpaths and Hardy's cottage can be reached by walking through the forest. The village is easily accessible off the A35, 6 miles from Dorchester which can be reached by bus and has two train stations.
The cottage is primarily a holiday let and the owner is looking for a longer term let for between 6 months and 2 years with a view to returning it to a holiday let in the future. It would not therefore be suitable for a family relocating and looking for a long term home. Sorry but we do not accept pets.
