I’m a private landlord looking for two or three tenants to rent my flat out to. It’s in a very quiet part of Heaton within a five minute walk of Chillingham Road and all the shops, and there are always plenty of parking spots outside the flat. There’s a bus stop round the corner for the no.1 service which can get you into the town centre within 15 minutes.
The flat has recently undergone a lot of improvements, including new carpets and furniture throughout, new kitchen worktops, new gas oven, new washing machine, and all of the rooms have had a fresh coat of paint. There’s an electric shower over a bath, and all of the windows are double-glazed. There’s a shared yard outside with plenty of room for car parking.
This would be ideal for young professionals or a family, though students will be considered if a guarantor is available. All tenants will be asked to provide details for a credit check, and references will be checked, though it’s worth noting that I do not charge for “tenant checks”. Sorry, no DSS tenants, smoking inside the property, or any pets.
As for me, I’ve been renting properties for over 10 years, and to date, have never had any disputes with any of my previous tenants. I am CRB checked (and clear!), and I’m happy to provide references from previous tenants if you require.
