We have a 7 day a week Londis shop and a regular post office service running from the Village Hall. The village community is very mixed and friendly and despite its rural location has a cosmopolitan feel driven by the number of cultural events our village supports, including an annual jazz festival, arts festival and regular weekly cinema screenings and live performances of international and classical music. The Calstock Arts Centre has become a beacon of cultural activity in this Riverside location. A great place for the philosophically and culturally minded, educated but not necessarily financially driven. Calstock is an economical place to live and successfully blends high culture with countercultural economics.
The accommodation is a stone's throw from the Riverside and free carpark and a two minute walk to the train station.
