Priorslee is a prestigious area in Telford. Offering easy access to both local and national leisure amenities as well as essential family facilities.

Local to the house. A network of council maintained footpaths criss cross Priorslee with pleasant walks including round The Flash and Priorslee Lake as well as to the Priorslee Flaming Grill Pub. The local scout group has its own premises 15 minutes’ walk away at Snedshill which is used by both scouts and guides as well as being available for hire. Shifnal is 3 miles away (7 minutes by car) a small town which boasts a huge number of pubs and places to eat.

Schools. Blessed Robert Johnson (secondary) Catholic College will shortly be relocated to this area and will be within 5 minutes walking distance. School buses for Tettenhall College Wolverhampton, Adams Grammar School Newport, and Idsall Comprehensive School Shifnal all drop children at the top of the cul-de-sac where the local bus stop is located.

Transport and commuting. Buses run from here to Shifnal and Oakengates (where buses to the local hospital can be caught). Telford Town centre is just 2.2 miles away taking 9 minutes by car. Telford Train station is a 30 minute walk. Trains run hourly direct, with no changes, from Telford to Birmingham International Airport. It is easy to commute by car to Birmingham (41 minutes 32 miles) Wolverhampton (19 minutes, 16 miles) or Shrewsbury (28 minutes, 18 Miles). National Express operate out of the town bus station with hourly buses to Shrewsbury as well as services to destinations further afield e.g Victoria Station London or, with 1 change Heathrow airport.

Oakengates hosts a thriving theatre called The Place; theatres are also located in Shrewsbury (Severn Theatre) Wolverhampton (The Grand). Healthcare. Local GP practices, a dentist and a chemist can all be accessed on foot in the area. In addition Oakengates and Shifnal have further practices. Princess Royal Hospital Telford provides a range of acute hospital services for people from Telford, Shropshire, mid Wales and further afield.
