1. You need to make an initial non-refundable application fee of £200 to get
the ball rolling.
2. You need to have rental checks done as normal by an agent - £150.
3. Once the checks have come back, you need to make an initial deposit towards buying the
house, of £3000, or more if you wish.
4. You need to make payments of £650 per calendar month. £450 of this payment is the
monthly rent and the rest goes towards buying a bit more of your new home every month,
similar to a standard mortgage.
5. You don’t need a mortgage, as the owner’s finances are in place. It works just like a
standard mortgage, but there is no bank involved at this stage.
6. The purchase uses a standard legal document that goes between the buyer's and seller's
solicitors.
7. It's all done through an agent who will send you monthly statements, one of which will
show how much rent you have paid, and the other, how much deposit you have accrued and
paid each month.
8. You have complete flexibility to transfer the property over to a bank or pay it off at
any time you want, subject to whatever we agree between us which will then be put in the
paperwork.
9. You will be required to pay house insurance, either monthly or yearly, which we will
arrange.
10. There is no Stamp Duty to pay.
11. Purchase price AT COMPLETION, is £104,000, FIXED for up to 3 years. Negotiable if a
longer term is required.
