6 Bedroom Detached House (Now Let)
The Coach House, Adelaide Terrace, Blackburn, Lancashire
The Coach House is much larger than appears from the road. Built on the side of a hill, it is a little lower than the road and has 3 floors including the semi-autonomous basement flat, which could be used by extended family (like a 'Granny Flat'). The rear external door leads via a small utilities room to the walled rear garden, which includes small trees and shrubs. There is also an access path around the side of the house connecting the garden to the front.
The main front door is on the middle floor, which leads through to the central entrance hall, with doorway to Kitchen and dinning room which opens through patio doors to the conservatory, which has its own external door. On the other side of the entrance hall is the main reception room with large simulated fire-place. To the rear of the central hallway are two bedrooms, a bathroom and stairway down to the basement floor.
Each of the three floors has its own bathroom, and they all have both bath and electric shower. The largest bathroom is on the top floor.
The house has gas central heating with two boilers: the basement flat having a separate boiler to the rest of the house.
Internal doors have been added between each of the three floors which improves privacy and reduces heat losses during winter. The house is double-glazed throughout.
There is off-road parking for up to 3 cars, with a few steps down to the patio area by the front door and conservatory.
The house is ideally placed within Corporation Park conservation area; being within walking distance of both town-centre and open countryside.
Pets if requested would be considered.
The landlord also offers to lease just two floors of the house without the basement flat, for a negotiated discount.
