The residential moorings have been established for some 50 years, and currently your completely secure lease for the mooring will be for another 21 years, although there is absolutely no reason why the lease with the Council should not be re-signed again at that time. Post,deliveries, bin collection etc are just the same as for a normal house, which is extremely unusual for residential moorings! There is a thriving community of 13 houseboats, lovely communal gardens and a secure private car park as well! Our mooring is at one end of the 13, so you only have one direct neighbour and uninterrupted views on the other side. We also have gated access which means we never get unwanted visitors!

Pisces is a dream to live on - there is plenty of space, she is extremely well insulated with natural gas fired central heating throughout as well as a feature log burner in the downstairs lounge. Her bilges are bone dry, it's really like living in a wonderful detached family home but with views to die for, and the opportunity for sailing, windsurfing and canoeing literally on your doorstep. And if you're after technology as well, we have Sky TV and broadband exactly as you would in a house. All this and Band A council tax as well!

Recently we've had a new combi boiler installed (unlimited hot water on tap), and also two brand new mooring piles, to ensure Pisces' safety for the next 50 years.
