Superior to the typical student house, his 3 bed penthouse apartment is really popular. Situated on the Greaves Road A6 on the University side of town (bus stop opposite), it is really comfortably furnished. Bills are included so you will always be warm and cosy.
3 double beds, smart TV, fast broadband with unrestricted downloads, Luxury separate fully fitted kitchen with an integrated dishwasher, large frdge/freezer, fan oven and integrated washing machine. The apartment is well insulated with double glazing and has fitted carpet.
The property is presented in a thoroughly cleaned condition.
The flat is on the top floor of this converted Victorian school building and is accessed by a lift (or stairs). The entrance hall has a coat rack and leads to all other rooms. First on the left is a utility room with condenser dryer, second freezer and Henry vacuum cleaner, Iron and ironing board.
The recently refurbished bathroom has a white suite with bath and shower.
The fully fitted kitchen was recently added and is large with plenty of cupboards, an integrated washing machine and dishwasher. There is a large fridge freezer, Bosch built in oven and ceramic hob.
The open plan lounge has sofa and Ikea leather armchairs, with a glass table, chairs for dining, coffee table, Smart TV and feature timber ceiling.

This penthouse flat is in a secure and quiet situation; previous groups have stayed until the end of their courses.
We asked our student tenants last year to comment on their experience. J.G. wrote: -
One of the best things about The Hastings flat was the location - only a few minutes by bus to University and located less than a minute from the bus stop. It was also located just outside the main road that runs through Lancaster so it was safer and more convenient to get to town/Uni rather than going around through Bowerham, where most student houses are located. There is a shop about 5 minutes away, which is extremely convenient for doing the basic shopping, there is also a very good fish and chips shop just around the corner. I found living in the flat to be a very pleasant experience, the flat was quiet and tidy. The design of the flat - the beautiful windows in the living room and the bright colours of the furniture were very pleasant to live in and made a big impression on me. Moreover, the kitchen was modern and well-equipped, having a dishwasher and a dryer were amazing additions that made everyday life much easier, something that I didn't see in most student houses. Our landlords were extremely helpful - the communication was excellent - when we needed help with anything in the house we instantly got it, when we moved in the space was really clean, we were provided with amazing amenities for students, such as big desks and comfortable chairs; we also received our full deposits back promptly. Overall, living in the Hastings was a great experience.

I really liked living in the flat. In my opinion, all rooms (kitchen, living room and bedrooms) are quite spacious and in addition the kitchen and bedrooms have decent storage space to fit everything in. A brilliant bonus is that the flat comes with a washing machine, dryer, TV and a dishwasher, which is not common in many other flats.
The flat is in a great location. Local shop (Spar) is only two minute walk away. The town centre is not that far either, it takes about 20 minutes on foot, in my opinion, what a great way to get your daily steps. In addition, the closest bus stop to the university is right across the street.
