Springwood Hall is a converted brewery. It’s an old stone building, three storeys high set in a dip off Oldham Road, Bardsley, Tameside almost within Daisy Nook Country Park. There are about 50 apartments.
The building/location is very rural and very quiet. There is no road noise and there are no street lights. It’s secluded and secure.
Access to the site is through an electronic gate, which can be opened remotely via the intercom at the entrance.
The car park is huge (no allocated spaces) and even has a stream running through it, and is gravel covered for that country manor feel!
The communal gardens are well maintained (by the management company, you don’t have to lift a finger) and are a nice place to sit with a book and a picnic rug on warm days.
One bedroomed, second (top) floor apartment (so no noise from above). Quite compact, particularly the bedroom, but does fit standard double bed, 2 bedside tables and a wardrobe or tall boy.
Very pretty aspect from living room, trees, squirrels, birds. No one will walk past ever – (you can walk around naked).
