I am interested in selling my two houses in Harborne.
Both are three bedroom houses next door to each other and connected together. They make up half of a 4 house terrace block which is East West facing.
I'm not interested in selling one house individually.
I need to sell both houses together to one buyer (or perhaps a family who wish to live next door to each other but in separate houses) or not sell at all.
For a developer both houses are ready to be rented out and have central heating etc.
However, the two gardens together create a very large area, easily big enough to build at least one house possibly two smaller ones.
All amenities, plumbing, fibre broadband, power, water etc are already close, making it much easier than building on a green field site. I have made an enquiry about planning permission, and had a planning officer visit the site. He said whether they would give permission for a build would very much depend on the style of house and the detail of the application, but, he felt that in principle it was very likely that planning could be obtained for a dwelling in that space.
I bought next door as a buy to let when it came up for sale a couple of years ago because it seemed like a sensible idea. However, my circumstances have changed and I need a bigger house, which means building an extension where I live or selling both houses. Please don't phone me and make me daft offer for one house, you would be wasting my time and yours.

Thanks for looking at this advert which is aimed at those interested in property development or building and maybe buy to let as I stress again, I need to sell both houses together in order to then buy a larger house.
If I don't get the price I need for both properties I shall stay and build an extension in the garden.
Please note the price of one house is approx half of what I need to sell the two houses together.
I know this is above the market rate but if you think of it as two houses plus a building plot its a bargain.
If I can't sell the properties for around 550,000 combined then I won't sell, but will remain and build an extension.
However, I'd rather move to larger house then do that so I am interested in selling the two houses and building plot.
