The house is located just off the historic Narrows and near the castle, in the centre of the medieval market town of Totnes. Totnes railway station is 10 minutes walk downhill from the house, providing main line rail links, including Exeter and Plymouth (approx 30 mins) and London Paddington ( approx 3 hours).

Totnes is well situated half way between Exeter and Plymouth, each a journey on A38 of approximately 20 miles.

The historic town of Totnes is situated on the River Dart, in the South Hams, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The south Devon coastline, Dartmouth and Dartmoor are all easily accessible, including the many renowned restaurants in the area.
