The village is also in the Southwell Minster school catchment area and is four miles to Southwell, a pretty little town with a couple of nice restaurants, a range of shops including a supermarket, a gym and pool, a stunning Minster and of course the race course.

It's seven miles from Newark, which has a number of restaurants, a cinema, a theatre, a brand new gym and pool, and supermarkets including a Waitrose. It's with easy access to the A46 and A1 and you can catch a train from Newark to London Kings Cross (approx 1hr 20m) and Leeds and York to the North.
