Green open spaces in the area include Jubilee Park on Galliard Road, which is relatively large, with approximately 52 acres of land. Nearby Pymmes Park opened as a public park in 1906 and boasts a historic walled garden. The area around Fore Street, just north of the Sterling Way and Church Street, is Edmonton Conservation area. A conservation area is an area that is considered to be of special architectural or historic interest.
