Regular train services leave from Littleport station direct to Cambridge (under 30 minutes) and london Kings Cross (approx 60 minutes). Local bus routes to Ely and the surrounding area are available in the village together with a variety of shops and convenience stores for day to day needs. Both Cambridge and Ely offer excellent shopping facilities.
Schools for all ages are to be found in the area and the nearby parish church of St George dates from the 14th century.
