It may be possible to extend beyond this but this will not be known until nearer the time-
This is not a 'portfolio' property of a professional landlord- this is a family home that we would like another family to enjoy and make their own until we return from abroad (we have a local property manager).
We are looking for tenants who would like to stay a minimum of 12 months.
From the double glazed front door the entrance hall (with telephone point and under-stairs cupboard) leads to a modern kitchen with plenty of storage, under floor electric heating, built-in dishwasher, electric double oven and gas hob. There is space for a free-standing fridge and plumbing for an under counter washing machine. The back door has a cat flap.
The kitchen is open plan to the dining room and lounge which has solid dark oak flooring, a gas fire (with gas fired back boiler), cabling for satellite TV and patio doors leading onto the lower patio.
Upstairs there is a modern white bathroom with tiled floor, toilet, a jacuzzi bath with shower over and fitted mirrored cabinet.
There is a large storage cupboard on the landing and neutral carpets throughout.
The rear bedroom is a large double (easily fits a king size bed) with fitted cupboards and telephone point. The front bedrooms include a good sized double with a fitted triple mirrored wardrobe and a useful small third room that fits a single bed and wardrobe or can be used as an office.
The back garden is east facing with 2 patios, lawned area and shed. During the summer the sun is on the lower patio in the morning and on the top patio in the evening. The garden backs onto a primary school.
The house is in a village location and just outside the Portslade conservation area. It is very close to number 1 bus routes into town and there is easy access to the A27, to local primary and secondary schools and is about a 15 minute walk to Portslade mainline rail station. All the usually required local amenities are within walking distance.
There is unrestricted parking in Southdown Road.
Cats ok, no dogs.
Sorry, no DSS.
