From Ellon (distance 8.2 miles) Follow Golf Road and then turn left onto the A948, and continue for 2.5 miles. Take a left turn onto the unclassified road signposted for Drumwhindle. Continue for 1.5 miles and take a left turn (signposted Carinorrie). Continue for 0.6 miles and at the crossroads take a left turn (signposted Methlick) and continue for 0.5 miles. North Newton is at the roadside on your right (grey gate).
