You can now monitor your property listing’s performance over time using data supplied to us by Rightmove and Zoopla. Next time you click into the ‘manage’ page of one of your live properties you’ll see that new panel has appeared below the summary details panel. This new panel is just to give you an overview – if you click the ‘more detail’ button you’ll be taken to a new page where you can sift the data to build a picture of how your ad is performing in order to decide whether to make alterations to the copy, photographs or price in order to generate more enquiries.
For example if your ad is priced well and is appearing in lots of search results but not getting many detail views you should consider changing the summary paragraph and the main photo. Likewise if you’re getting lots of detail views but no enquiries you should have a good look at your whole ad to try and work out what’s putting people off from hitting the ‘enquire’ button or picking up the telephone.
We’ll update the figures daily but checking in once or twice a week should be enough for you to get a handle on your listing’s performance and react accordingly.
